Hi,
Fishing is good right now on the White river at Rim Shoals.
I fished there today, seven Rainbow in one hour.
Green Anna K and Zebra Midge working.

Cardiac Hill and Suicide Hill are 2 places that are pretty close together. You can also access the river from Maramec Springs Park.
Depending on when you will be there, you can also fish the park. It costs 3 dollars to enter the park. To fish in the park, you will need to buy a daily tag (you must show a valid MO fishing license to purchase a daily tag.
The next closest would be some small streams: Blue Spring Creek, Spring Creek, Roubidoux, and Mill Creek.
After that, would be the Current River...along with Montauk State Park. (No entrance fee for the state park, but you would need a daily tag, like above, to fish the park.)
If you need more info, just let me know.
Brian
Thanks Brian

Hey Guys,
If you are talking fishing this winter you need to check the regulations. No daily tag is required in the trout parks. You do how ever need a trout stamp or license as they call it now.
Good fishing and good luck.
Rich
Yes, that is true. From Nov 9th until the week before Mar 1, it is catch & release season in the MO trout parks.Quote:

Fishing is free, but you have to have a MO license *and* a trout license to fish.
You can fish in the rivers any time. You just need a MO license. If you want to posess (keep) fish from the river, you will need the trout license in addition.
