Quote of the week
I am deeply offended by the quote of the week, using a cartoon character with obvious "problems" has sent me over the edge. He has always represented the "lower class" of the country with Bugs being big business, and as capitalism goes he always wins. I expected much more.

A bum-legged old man and a drunk. That's all you got?
That's WHAT I got.

SSSSHHHHH!!!!!!!!! I'm fishing fer a wascly wally.

Best to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
Something I seldom remember to do.

zimrz17, you are so off base on this. Bugs is not representative of capitalism, but rather the political structure that seeks to suck the marrow from the bones of hard working "everyman" Elmer. Notice how he pops up and interferes with Elmer's every attempt at procuring his dinner (always in season, mind you...Elmer is nothing if not law abiding. Now Porky Pig...THERE is your Capitalist, well, PIG, if you will. He just wants to keep all others from enjoying the fruits of his garden because of some misguided believe in private property, or something unenlightened like that.
I am offended that you took offense. http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif

Where does Daffy Duck come in when he keeps having his bill blown off?

As the newly elected President of PETA, I am offended at the mere MENTION of these characters who would do harm to poor wittle animals!
