one of these days I have to try one of these steelhead/salmon patterns for the local Atlantics....nobody uses patterns like that and I'd be curious to see how the fish take to them...minus the stinger hook, of course (illegal in NL)

Calling that a Spey fly is really stretching it. I don't see a single Spey fly feature on it.

I think it is a fly that Spey Flyfishers use. It's a world I'm not familiar with.
Also I hope the _ _ _ _ Maple trees get done blooming soon! (allergies)
