LadyFisher FOTW?
LadyFisher,
After your FOTW request, I searched the BB looking for instructions to submit a FOTW and found none. I'm not a pro-tyer but thought one of these days I (or someone else) could get images together for a fly and wondered how you prefer it to be submitted. Is there a preferred format or layout?

We would much rather have Fly of the Week from our readers! It is really not that involved - we need:
1. A paragraph on the fly, where it came from, (is it original?)
2. Materials List
3. Step by step photos and written instructions.
4. How to fish the fly.
Text can be sent as an attachment, or just
cut and paste into the message part of the
email.
Photos should be sent as .jpg or .gif, and sent as an attachment (please take care on focus). Fill the frame with the fly if you can.
If you do not have photo ability, tie the fly in steps and mail it to us and JC will do the photography.
If you want, include a little bio about yourself.
We are always delighted to have the flies from you!

LF,
Many thanks. I've got a particulr fly in mind and thought I might try this, maybe sooner than later. I'd like to try fishing it first to see if it works on anything. No trout up here near KC until late October, but plenty of gills for quinea pigs.
