New to Swaps
Never been part of a swap, but would like to, it seems like a great way to see what others on the board are doing and how they tie flies. How would I go about starting one, etc...
Thanks.

Well, just think of a fly, or topic, like trout,or bass, etc. and say, Hey folks! Hows about we have ten tiers, in b-4 (Give at leased a month)and wait for replies! If folks want to they will, be sure and react to there post's, keep involved, the swap will work its self threw. If you have Q's during the swap ask them... Other than that, it's all about fun... http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif

Drew,
You may want to get into a swap miestered by someone else first, before heading one up yourself. Just see how it plays through. I will tell you, they are totally addictive, and almost better than Christmas when the package shows up with all the beautiful flies inside!

I agree with Betty. Swaps are great fun, and after doing a couple, the host one. Although it's fun getting the package and more work hosting, hosting means you get a dozen packages instead of one. Of course, you've got to turn around and mail them out. but still . . . JGW
