Well, after 17 years of mostly futility chasing steelhead on the fly, it finally happened to me - the ultimate day of steelhead fishing. Hooked 22 landed 12 summer steelhead to 12 lbs. on my favorite river in California in about 8 hours of fishing. To those out there still not giving up no matter how bleak it can seem at times, hang in there. Your day will come, too.

Last year I hooked up twice.....1st steelheads to feel my hooks, & both spit 'em back at me! I'm still looking to land my first one, so obviously I am in awe of your day!

I just love to hear of a great day like that! Congrats! Sometimes everything works. It is the kind of day you will be telling friends about for years. Hopefully you will have more of them..
