That is just what I need, a lure I can not only lose but break. I am sure those will catch some fishermen or friends or family of fishermen. They are very pretty however.
I believe they are more as art than for actual use, Jesse......

Those are very useable. I doubt you could cast them a fly rod, they'd be pretty heavy, but unless you hit a rock, they wouldn't break in normal use.
The glass 'beads' they are made out of are thick and made from a very strong and durable glass.
I've made jigging spoon type lures and some spinner bodies in the past, and they have held up well and caught lots of fish.

I would be reluctant to try using them at $20 each before knowing how well they actually held up.
Byron, you need to run through the price list on bass lures. $20 is not unusual now days for some lures. The 8' SPRO BBZ-1 Swimbait is $37 each.

Heck, BPS has a jointed hard-body swimbait that sells for $50. I'd be scared to use that in most of the areas I fish; to many snags.
I also assemble some in-line spinners. Mepps has a BIG one in their catalog that sells for over $35. I've been working on something similar that I could do, probably going to cost me about $15 in parts. Still not sure if I want to risk loosing that.
