Very low and very clear!!!
Not to mention it has been pretty dang cold. The fishing has been slow to say the least. Light tippets and small eggs have been the key to even have a shot. Good luck folks!

I fished the Pere Marquette in October of 2003 for the first and only time. Had a blast. I fished with Paul Drewry, who resides near Ludington. We a bunch of salmon that day up to about 20 pounds, maybe more. The weather was terrible: windy, overcast and drizzling. But the fishing was great.Quote:

Its a good thing that we have gotten some snow. Hopefully, we get some stain to the rivers. I was up there last weekend and they were still gin clear. Very spooky fish to say the least.
