VDGIF announced the complete remodeling of the Coursey Springs Fish Hatchery over the next 18-24 months. It's 40 years old and needs replacing. They supply about 30% of the trout for stocking. So, while the states stocking schedule will be less the next 1 1/2 to 2 years the new model is supposed to produce about 50% more trout and bigger and better ones once it's up to speed.
