I really like the markings on this badger neck. Anyone else like using badger?

I use it fairly regularly
Yep, I have several from Collins Hackle Farm, great hackle...
I use badger hackle for a good number of patterns. Prefer speckled over grizzly.
Above pic is a silver badger. Heard of several different types of badger: silver, golden, light and dark champagne, but not a "Grizzly". Where do you get it? Can you post a pic?
Not Grizzly badger...Speckled badger. I feel it gives an impression much like Grizzly in dry fly applications.

Several years ago at the annual show in Danbury, CT I noticed a couple pro-tiers using Badger hackles.
When asked about it, the reply was that they provided a light colored hackle with the dark adding to a darker thorax.
I never heard of this before.
Ray,
Dark tips and darkening thorax.
Yes I use golden badger quite a bit, Whiting and Collins. Ray golden badger has been used for many years. The Dette's tied there Green Drake and a dry fly called the Conover. I'm sure there are many more but those two are what I use it for.
