Body/head: Dubbing brush, olive - mix of natural, synthetic and small quantity of deer hair (or dubbing of your choice)
Wing: Snowshoe hare, dyed dark brown - two or three bunches, depending on shank length
Note: A snowshoe take on the Hedgehog design. Neigh unsinkable.

I agree with the horse! It ought to float until some mean old trout drags it under. It certainly looks buggy/fishy.

That's a top dropper fly for the lochs here, in the summer (if we get one), if ever I've seen one. Now you have given me a problem. The search for a supply of dyed snowshoe is on again. Found a few places that list it, but none have any stock. I know one answer is to dye it myself but I try to avoid that if I can.

I have got to try one of those on my waters. I hope you will be making/adding a 'how to tie' video of this fly. I'm not sure where to start tying it, nice fly.
