That's what Vigdis calls 'em.

I used to make Swedish pancakes, but the recipe called for a whole cube of melted butter then you spead lots more butter over the cooked cake and sprinkled on a tablespoon of powdered sugar. man I love them but they love the waist too much so I had to give them up.

Larry,
LOL, You're looking at my Lo-cal version of Norwegian Pancakes.
The next level has them stuffed with sweetened cottage cheese and smothered with Boysenberry syrup along with the powered sugar and whipped cream and sweet butter. Guaranteed to instantly make you move to the next notch in your belt buckle or suffocate!
You know how good they. You've made the Swedish variety. Ourselves, we only have this kinda of a breakfast occasionally. It sure breaks up the monotony though. I can only eat so much oatmeal.:)

I've been giving those up for 36 years now. I know I can quit...is there a 12 step program for this...I really don't have a problem...

mcsteff,
If you'd like, I can come up with a 12 step program, where by your troublesome Norwegian pancakes go from being on a plate at your house, to being on a plate ( with boysenberry syrup) at my house? It does involve your credit card and a resurrected SST though! Are you in?
Best regards, Dave S.
