This one will get their attention, or send them swimming. Loved the color of the deer hair (we don't get picric on this side of the pond but it does bear a resemblance; wish I remembered where I bought this patch); hated the texture. Ended up having to use a spun loop.
hook - Mustad 3906 #6
thread - Danville 6/0 light olive
tail - pheasant tail dyed hot yellow (1TBS Rit Lemon Yellow, 1/2 cup water)
rib - oval tinsel gold
body - dubbing hot yellow
hackle - orange over hot yellow
overhackle - mallard dyed hot yellow
head/collar - deer dyed yellow
