The John Shedd Aquarium has opened a new exhibit devoted to the Invasive Species and their negative effects on the Great Lakes.

Great idea for an exhibit!
It's a great aquarium. The Shedd, along with the Adler Planetarium and Field Museum were my favorite places to visit when I was a kid. I used to go fishing for perch there and also fish for rock bass along the rocks by the airport. In the spring I would gill net smelt in the harbor. I would always try to combine a visit one of the museums along with the fishing. I'll bet things have changed a lot there in regards to the fishing. It's good to hear that the Shedd is still doing great things.
