A friend of mine and I went for a few hours over to South Mt. State park. My friend Rob is into nymph fishing and managed to land at least 2-3 fish while I was in range of him. I personally caught 3 on my bucktail streamer.
Most of the fish we caught were around 8-10 inches. All were nice healthy brook trout. It was really nice to see some health fish in the stream as this fall I caught an obese brook trout that went belly up after landing it.
