Strike Indicator
This morning Anglerdave opened a thread on strike indicators. Not wanting to inject this "indicator" into his thread Iheres another. Plus it gives me a chance to try out my new camera. So far this pictures haven't been too good but I am the type that is handicapped by all this new stuff.
Anyway, below is my warm water strike indicator. It consists of a corky, a long shank hook, some foam on the back and dressing of your chice. I tie this on a 8 or 12 lb line then drop off with a lighter leader. These corky's are cheap and really float. Plus it has been known to catch a bass or two.

Very creative strike indicator.
And the picture is VERY GOOD.

Yes, good picture! And...your tying desk is much less cluttered than mine. ;)

I fish Trout and also allot of HOPPER/DROPPER set ups. I noticed allot of fish hitting the indicator, while still having the big ones hanging on the bottom.
So, I took one of Rowley's round slip indicators, and glued and attached a Foam Hopper to the ball. So the silhouette is still a hopper and it is an indicator in which I can still target fish below 10'
Only got to try it once, but it worked!:D

That is a fine idea for sure! It would work pretty well without any dropper as well. Round Dinny style.
