I was here too, JC. I kinda thought it was along the line of the moment of silence and a private tribute to Al from you and the LF. Very well done.

I also noticed and was very touched by it. I called my wife from my office and read it to her and it brought a tear to my eyes. I have not accepted it yet, but I guess I will some day.

Thank both of you for this web site. If not for you and the urging of "Ohiotuber" to join, I would never had the opportunity to know Al and learn more about him through his posts. I only wish I could have met him in person. I cannot explain it, but, I feel like I have lost a good friend that I have never met. It hurts. I know that there will be others on this web that I will feel the same way about one of these days and it really makes me mad to know that I will probably never get to meet them either. Life is just not fair. JC and LF remember that you have an open invitation to come fish with me on my rivers in Tennessee if you are ever down this way. You are in my prayers and keep up the great work here.

JC,
I saw your "locked" post this morning. At 10am mtn time, I was on my way to work, turned off the radio & prayed for Al & family, which of course includes you & LF.
God Bless,
Mike

JC,
No, he was not the only one.
Was looking for a new fly rod in Green River at 10:00. Took about ten minutes took walk along the Green River in silence, remembering everything I have read about a great man and everyting that I have learned from his teachings.
JC & LF keep up the great work and thank you both for a great place to get away when we can't get to the water.
