Hi bgreer,
I looked at the pictures of all four rods. VERY nicely done! The first rod I built was a 7' 6" four wt. I love the length and weight rod, and mine fished beautifully. Thus, I decided to put my comments with the picture of the 7' 6" rod, since I love that weight and length.
I still need to put a keeper on it and take a picture for this board, but haven't done it although a lot of time has passed since I built it. My rod does not look anywhere near as nice as yours. Mine looks like the first rod of a beginner, which is what I still am.
The color of the blank is different from the ones I have seen. The color of the blank helps bring out the color of the wrapping. What blank did you use?
Thanks and regards,
Gandolf

I too was wondering what blank that is...
Excellent work, by the way!

I love it! I'm working my way through a redo of an old South Bend. Getting there - only wrapped one guide 3 times. I think this time it will stay!
I really like the color combo on the rod also.

Thank you for the kind comments guys.
The blank is a 7'6'' 3pc IM6 blanks. It was pink...yep, pink.
I sanded it and painted the blank before I built it. I really wanted to give it kind of a retro look.
You see some bamboo rods from makers with that color combo....I really like it.
