I haven't tried it but it I don't think it will work. That question has been asked on Gorilla Forum and it hasn't given me any reason to believe that you can use it. http://www.gorillaglue.com/ToughTeam...s/Default.aspx
Your absolute best bet is to go to a shoe repair place and have them glue it back on. That said...have a look at this link:

You'll need to clean off the area you are gluing even if you don't plan to replace the whole felt.
will barge cement work?
Probably! 8)
Barge cement is way to go.
I've used Gorilla Glue on several pairs of boots with excellent success. My last pair was Orvis and I'm into my 2nd year with the Gorilla Glue repairs. BTW, my boot repair shop told me it wouldnt work. Anyhow......workes great for me.

I think Gorilla glue dries hard & won't make a flexible joint. I've used " Shoe Goop" & it worked for the life of the replaced soles. Then the heel lining on the inside of the boots was worn thru & I replaced the boots instead of replacing the felts again. They just don't last forever....
if you use the clear gorilla glue it dries flexable and it holds soles on workboots just fine...
I thought Gorrilla glue would not work but some people have had success as reported on this post and the post below, where Dave asked the same question. So if you have it, try it.

I've used barge cement to repair my wading boots and barge cement is what Weinbrenner Shoe Company uses to repair wading boots that have been sent in. Barge cement is flexible and water proof.
Dave, i was under the impression that your wife used gorilla glue to attach your wedding ring. it's working there, no?
