Rod repair
A couple of months ago I posted on the main forum about a Sage rod which the sections had become stuck. While attempting to unstick the sections I broke the rod.
The rod was sent back to Sage with the required $40.00 about 4 weeks ago. I received the rod back from Sage last week. They replaced the 1st and 2nd sections of the rod complete with new handles and reel seat. I took the rod out this weekend and it casts just as it did before I broke it.
This is the second rod Sage has repaired for me in a year's time. Once again I must give Sage kudos for standing behind thier products.
Thanks again Sage.

Kerry, I know you. You're not a careless guy. What's up with gear problems? In fact I would have bet you used wax on your rods.
just sign me, confused,,, :D

Mr. Castwell,
The first rod that broke I am guessing had a defect since it broke right at the handle.
The second rod, the one I got stuck, was completely my fault. I had not waxed the ferrules. I know, I know, not very responsible on my part. I cannot change my lack of responsiblity in the past but I will do my best to improve in this area as the future unfolds.
