NEED HELP!!!
Hi gang!!!
I have just received my first float tube. It's a TU Gallatin. As far as I've been able to research it's a discontinued model, but uses the same bladders as other current TU tubes. No worries there.
The thing is that it arrived here in Colombia without the apron and the stabilizer bar!!!
So, there's no way to use the tube. At least that's what it seems. And I don't want to test it either.
Any of you guys have ever owned this model of tube?
Maybe you have one that you no longer use (leaking bladder, maybe?) and you'll be willing to sell me the bar and apron.
Maybe one from another model will work just fine...
What about contacting TU? I bought the boat second hand so no warranties or anything... any experiences with them?
Please help!!!
Thanks in advance

Haven't seen the boat....so I probably shouldn't comment. It would seem though that a stabilizer bar and apron could be built so easily. A piece of pvc pipe....some canvas, a couple of connecters. You have a saddle shop around that has a sewing machine that will sew canvas? Just a thought.

POJ:
I already had that idea.
However would love to have the tube in the best condition possible.
If nothing else works the "do it yourself" sense will jump into the stage...
Thx

now that we're talking about it...
Jim:
The bars on the float tubes are made from PVC or there are ones made from a kind of foam?
