Just checking in with my first post. I've been lurking for a few weeks and liked what I read. I fly fish the salt and live at the northern end of the Chesapeake Bay. Now, if it would just quit raining (and flooding) I could go fishing!

Welcome!
On the matter of the weather, I live upriver from you. A good buddy of mine lost his carp fishing boat in the storm. It was last seen on its way to Harrisburg. Keep your eye out for it.
What side of the bay ya on? Get down to tolchester(e. shore) many times in the spring and summer , maybe we could fish some?

Hello and welcome from another lady angler.
Welcome SW Ladyfish,
Do you get out for the shad run that is coming soon in The Susquehana? I live less than an hour from Conowingo and hope to get down there and also hit Deere Creek too.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'll keep my eyes peeled for them pirates! I've been known to wield my fly rod like a "light saber"!
Technically I'm on the Eastern shore at the northernmost end about 1/2 mile from the Susquehanna Flats!
And, yes, I fish Deer Creek for Shad...going out Sunday!
