I used to find the Blacks guide to fly fishing manufactures fairly handy. I believe that someone like Field and Stream took it over and it was on line because I remember looking at it about a year ago but I sure can't find it now. Does anyone have an online link to it or am I out of luck?
I have the 2007 Black's Fly Fishing edition. The only info I can find is:

The grandview media group has it listed as one of their publications but it looks like they don't have it available online so I'm out of luck there. I sort of cringe at spending $25 for it. Not that it isn't worth it but they give it out for free to everyone who attends the Greatwaters show. I'll hae to see if that happens this year. Anyone who attended the Chicago show know?
The two guys who owned "Black's" also produced a Gun and Hunting version. A couple of years ago they decided they were getting on and should retire. So they sold it.
The new owners immediately made an arrangement with
Field and Stream to put both the Hunting and the Fishing Directories online, within the F&S website. Black's really should have had their own site, which would have maintained the name and image. If I recall correctly, they also raised the advertising prices.
I think they are now 'gone.'
I see that the grandview media group will have a booth at the Greatwaters Show so they will either be giving away the Blacks guide or selling it there. I guess I will find out cause I'm going to go.
