Here's the minnow i tied with that ghost fiber I was looking for a couple of weeks ago. Great stuff. So fine that you can pull it apart with your hands. Fun to tie.

How does it look in the water?
hey dennis. looks good in the water. front half is lightly coated with flex-coat so it keeps the body. back end moves more and it looks like a swimmer to me. we'll see if the fish buy it.
Your Ghost minner is a winner!
Rich
If you can pull it apart with your hands, will it stand up to multiple catches or will it shread easily? I'm not complaining, just curious.
Diane; That Ghost Fiber looks realy great. Just one question, if you can pull it apart with your fingers. Does it stand up to a mauling by an angry trout??
Your fly looks great, and should charm the fish with no trouble. Jax

I'm a much better Fly fisher when talking fishing, than when I'm Actually Fly fishing!
I guess I'll be finding out. I learned this fly in an FFF meeting demo and the guy who taught it said he'd been having luck with it. I just wanted to try working with the material. But now that I've tied a few, I'm having some serious need to make some fish angry with it. I'll let you guys know how it does later in the spring.
very nice, where did you find the Ghost fibre material ??
Thanks
Philip

I look into... my fly box, and think about all the elements I should consider in choosing the perfect fly: water temperature, what stage of development the bugs are in, what the fish are eating right now. Then I remember what a guide told me: 'Ninety percent of what a trout eats is brown and fuzzy and about five-eighths of an inch long.' - Allison Moir.
