Xuron Vise

I just retrieved some of my vises which were in storage. A couple of the vises were the Xuron vises. These were very popular in the 70's.

For those who may be interested, about 8 years ago, I find a company still making and selling them:

The Bedford Sportsman in St. Simons Island, GA

They are great vises and quite reasonably priced............

The original Bedford Sportsman is in Bedford Hills, NY. Westchester County. Great bunch of guys, a true old time fly shop.

I really enjoy your posts. I looked up the Vise / vice and just now discovered that I think I know where one is (used). Its not for sale but I know a grandson that will be very pleased and stop wondering why his grandpa didn't buy a Griffen spyder like me.

Do you collect vises?

Thanks. Yes, I am a visaholic. I am not yet in rehab of any sort. I have vises all the way from the LAW to the Xuron. Just love all the different designs of the quality vises.
