Those came out nice! If you tie any more, make the wings into two small hair bunches and crisscross them into an X before inserting. Once you have them tied in place, you can spread them out more evenly.

Good article on the Bunyan Bug in "Just Old Flies and stuff"! Article even has the how to dress the patten, along with some "Tying Tips".
i would love to get an old beat up origenal or at least for really really good photos to see if i can replicate the pattern that was they have iused marker on one and the other is drying right now. but going to make more. the last two i tie i used a needel in the vise and tiedthe wings togeather and then dabeb with head cment them while just tacy sli off neeen flattened on tabl and inserted. i will try the cris cross way nxt
As I recall some of the wings were done with horsehair (from the mane or tail) - isn't that a neat thing? I believe they were salmon fly imitations.
