That's a nice one, Wes. I like Al's Foam Hopper, Charlie Boy Hopper, a foam creation Wally Wiese sent me, and Henry's Fork Hoppers.

ps - I like John Scott's FEB hopper, too, but haven't tied enough of them well to add it to the stable
I don't fish topwater much, but I do like JohnScott's FEB Hopper. Simple and durable.
Amy's Ant. Multipurpose Stonefly, hopper, big caddis, etc. Easy to see and a high Floater.

Parachute Madam X. See Above for reasoning.
Definitely John Scott's FEB Hopper. It does the trick for me.
I just saw Davie McPhail tie his fiery brown hopper and it look like a winner to me. See what you think. http://www.youtube.com/user/DavieMcPhail#p/u

I really haven't chosen a hopper to tie... they all look to hard to tie. Anyone have any suggestions for somthin' easy?
Try a Chernobyl hopper; pretty easy to tie, just need a little foam and some rubber legs:

The fancy cutter in the step-by-step is nice, but not necessary, you can do it with scissors.

I would suggest a LeTort Hopper - http://kwsu.org/Offers/FlyTying.aspx - Episode 303 - easy to tie, holds up well and floats well. It can be easily adjusted to make a handy Le Tort Cricket as well. It's an eastern pattern developed on the LeTort in PA.
this is very simple and effective with or without the legs.
