I wannabe a Pirate!!
I'm old, cranky, excentric, set in my ways ect. I have no use for lollygagers, himhawers, naysayers nor yes men! I am a viking, red hair, blue eyes, tall, etc. Some Irish got in there too but so what? "If God had not invented whiskey the Irish would rule the world!!".
If there are and dues/fees needed I'm sorry about your luck, the check is in the mail!!
Arrrrg!! Aye matey mind your P's & Q's.
Get up Jack, John set down!

Yo Ho Ho and a bottle of rum!"

Sounds like you're the definition of pirate to me. welcome aboard...
aaarrrggghhh!!!

Hey there Dave;
So you're a Lithuanian pirate? Perhaps I was absent that day too when they were teaching about the great Lithuanian pirate armada. Oh well, one lives, one learns.
-
If I am not mistaken the only real requirement for being a pirate is wanting to be one. So welcome aboard. Oh you must attend one of the Florida Fish-ins before you retire to the happy hunting grounds.
WE have one big one once a year and many little ones. Seems we need friends to go fishing with. Come on down, (hint the cooler the weather here the better for fishing) Unless you want big fish. Tarpon are doing pretty good right now.

Marco,
.....and a meaner, nastier lot you never will see!.....AAAAAARRRRRRRGH!!!!!

Hey there Harold;
I'd be glad to join the Florida fish-in pirates if you have it right at Christmas/New Years. I did feel a sort af comaraderie with you and all the attendees at the last fish-in in that I, while you were all there, was consuming copius(sp)(lottsa) amounts of rum in absencia. I held up my end (barely).

Well then, matey, hie yerself coastward and bring a heavy rod. When the red tide gets blown away again, the fishin should be fine. Until then, we've rum!

Marco, I drink heavily and cast big flies with a big rod to big fish in a crashing surf. So that makes me the first Lithuanian pirate! Just ask Flats Dude
-
never forget about us fresh-water pirates, maties. we consume the rum, and cast the flies. the only difference is, our "big rods" are 5 wts, our "big flies" are #10, and our big fish are your bait. relativity is a wonderful...
as far as i know, the only requirements for being a pirate are the attitude and desire to be classified as such. and to be perfectly honest, if you really want to be known among this salty lot, you must be mad, and therefore, youll fit right in...like me http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/biggrin.gif.
