Good news-now I need MORE advice!
First, the good news...I just got my new 50" by 3/4" Folstaf...Got it on Ebay for $83.95 signed, sealed, delivered, & brand new!
Now here's my question...I had bought a couple digital scales so I could weigh the big gills & some bass I run into, & both scales were JUNK! One was one of those 30-50 lb luggage scales...the hook was too large & it just wouldn't weigh small fish. The other was either Berkeley or Rapala & the hook (attached by bead chain) just fell off. Can anyone recommend a decent one? I only want to weigh fish under 10 lbs (mostly 1-5 lbs), but it appears scales are geared to BIGGER fish...What do you folks use?

Boga Grip, accept no substitutes !
I use a Boga Grip ( http://www.burfish.com/catalog/_boga_grip.html ) but it's probably to much for panfish. I also own two digital scales ( a Stren and a Rapala ) and have found them both to be accurate enough for most of my fishing purposes, although I tend to use them on fish that obviously exceed the ten pound mark. For your sunfish, Tiemco / Umpqua sells a spring loaded grain scale for weighing fly lines that might be more appropriate for your purposes. ( kidding of course. )
