Vermont information
I have the opportunity to fish in the Sugarbush/Warren Vermont area over the 4th of July weekend. Got a wedding to go to -- not mine.
Never been up that far for fishing. Any recommendations for fly shops with info on the region would be appreciated. Anybody with local knowledge of spots to hit a PM would be welcomed as well.
As always to everybody in the FAOL world thanks for your great info

Gotta agree about the Dog!! It's right in my backyard and I've fished the length of it to Montpelier. In the last two weeks been getting some on PT nymphs and also Adams. BWO's and woolys have taken a few also. If you fish the Dog and plan on keeping any fish make sure you check the game and fish book, different rules about different parts of the river.
The Fly Rod Shop has a web site and if call the guys should give you the info on what flies are working, if they're not open just check the board outside it's kept up to date. Bob Shannon the owner is great and won't lead you wrong.

I'll also recommend the Fly Rod Shop. I was there several years ago and found the shop by accident. I got there as they were closing, but the owner, Bob Shannon not only kept the store open, so I could pick up some things, he gave me a wealth of info about the local streams. We talked for a good hour or more, even though i'm sure he had more important things to do. Now, that's service! If your over in that are check out the LaMoille River.
