I like it, controlled impressionistic confusion! With some "meat on the bone", compared to most of your flies.
I've always thought of flies that are similar as "bumbles", would you class the fly that way?
Greased and awashed, as long as I can see it,is an enjoyable way for me to fish. Thanks for your effort.

Planning a trip to Ireland Hans? (Stupid question, I know you are planning a trip to Ireland.) What I mean is are you planning a fishing trip to Ireland? That is an Irish lough style fly if ever I saw one. Now you've published that, Lawrence Finney will soon be turning them out by the dozen. It might just be good for my local lochs. I can see all kinds of variations being useful.
