What's your favorite lakes streamer, guys?
Not sure if it qualifies as a streamer, but I have good success with a brown leech pattern tied with Arizona Simi Seal. Catches multi species.
Hi Rocket, how's the winter going down there?
I only use one 'streamer' in lakes. The Woolly Bugger :)
By far my favorite fly in lakes and my first go to fly when fishing a new lake. Tie one on, be it black or brown or green and start trolling around the lake, checking out the structure under and above the water, finding out where the fish may be.
So, what is your favorite streamer, Rocket?

Hi Larry...this one is my favorite. Matuka.

I like my olive green and red matuka. Jim
I'd add the bunny leach to the list. John Barr's Slumpbuster has worked for me in the past. Hard to beat a Wooly Bugger, of course, tied in various sizes and colors.
My Orange Blossom Special.

I have always had good luck with White Zonkers and a natural colored rabbit leech on trout lakes.

Match the hatch! Streamers imitate minnows and they come in a wide variety, from those that match a Micky Finn to the famed Sculpin pattern the Muddler. When in the NE a Grey Ghost is a all time great, Muddlers on many mid central lakes and streams and for a few streams the Mick Finn stands out!
