woven flies
I watched the Oliver Edwards DVD that has been maing the rounds and have been practising that. The flies are starting to look good and are very fast to do.
This method is also in the Fly Tyers Benchside Refrence.
I have even made a couple of olive wooly buggers if I ever see anglerdave again.

This stuff lays down sweet! use waxed dental tape for the base.I'll throw in a strand of leggs alive to add segmentation to the weave. If you need any help I'll be more than happy to help. I love woven bodies.

May I suggest looking for George Grants books. He was one of the best that ever lived in doing weaving in this country and has it all down in his books. Ron
