November in the 'glades
Although I spent a lot of time over the years fishing in So. Florida, I've never made a trip to the Everglades. That's all about to change. I'm heading down to Chokoloskee on the 15th of November and I was hoping that some of you might be able to recommend some patterns / colors that you like for this time of year. I hope the weather will cooperate along with the snook and maybe a tarpon or two. I hope to spend most of my time casting my 8 wt, but I'll probably throw in a 10wt, too. I'm open to any and all suggestions. Thanks in advance...
Tight lines, Chris

I've been down there but not enough to give you any "real" tips.
Are you using a guide at all? Capt. Charles Wright of Chokoloskee Charters just might give you a tip or two if you ask.

Just tell him that FL_SKIBUM is still interested in parking his travel trailer on his "condo" spot there in Choko in February for his "Paddle-In". HA!

Skibum, I will in deed be fishing with Capt. Charles. I've been looking forward to this trip for a couple of years and the stars finally lined up for me to take it.
