I've lost my supplier for wild turkey marabou.
Does anyone out there have a source for it?

Several years ago a young man gave me a 30 gallon trash bag full of feathers he had plucked from a turkey. Let me see what all is in there. If you don't hear back from me drop me a pm in a couple of days. We are having GA's version of winter and it's a little cool to tie flies in my unheated basement. And yes I know I'm a woosie.
PM sent about marabou
I'll be chasing the turkeys in April and May. Should be able to get some then, if you don't find any in the meantime.

not a pretty fly but a BIG fish catcher.
SIZE 10 AND 8.
tie them full or don't waste your time.
Turkey Leech.
Thanks,
Don't need any wood duck, but thanks for the offer. Looks like we're tying the same thing. Around here it's referred to as a Whisky Fly (tied only with wild turkey:wink:) generally credited to Bob Nasby for developing it years ago. One of my go to patterns for crappie and gills in a #10. Looks like a minnow, leach or nymph. Also tie it up to 3" long for largemouth.
Thanks again,
Kevin

I used to tie a lot of those Turkey Leeches for a guide that has since gone out of business. Let me look at my stash and see if I have some to give you.

His name is Mitch Bent.
If you want his email address send me a IM and I will send it to you back channel.
If you get a dozen from him they are very reasonably priced.
