Please stay safe and take no chances.
My church is planning a collection this week. I will be generous.
My boss's son and daughter in law are in Houston and we haven't heard from them yet. Hope they are all well and not affected to much by the storm.
Thanks for the post, Charlaine, Wife and I are praying for all of our members safety. Wife and I are originally from Houston and are familiar with the area, she still has family there and I have some friends. That area is FLAT and mostly paved with concrete and asphalt, nothing to soak up the water, especially feet of water. May God keep all of Y'all in his safe arms. Take care, John.
Yes and may our government stay actively involved
supply food water, rafts plastic tarps , warm weather gear
waders ect... for as long as it takes,, at whatever costs..
From what I have read this is being done texans are strong folks
with the help of local neighbors and the US forces they will rebuild
once they are safe...
of course i wish for godspeed... but more importantly many hands to help...
My wife and I have several friends in the area and they are alright so far. Prayers for those people.
Needless to say, out thoughts and prayers fortify the victims' souls but cash buys food, water, fuel, nails and lumber. Do contribute what you can through legitimate sources such as American Red Cross etc.
Just heard, Wallmart will match all donations made thru them 2:1.
