Fishing Around The Ocoee River

Hey

I am going whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River in TN at the end of April, and I would also like to do some fishing while I am there. Does anyone know of any places to fish or guides around that area?

There is no fishing in the river but the lake is good for different species of bass. Some of the drainage into the Ocoee has some fish but I can't tell which. If I were you I'd go over the state line into GA and hit the tailwater of the Toccoa, or even the DH water. I don't know the number but the Blue Ridge Fly Shop (Oyster Rods)has guides that do both floats and wade fishing in the area. You could look at the TN DNR's site for more information.
Now you could hop over to the Hiawassee at Relience, TN and fish it.

Fish all you want, but remember that there are no fish in Tennessee...
