Now that's customer service!

I've seen many examples of customer service on this board - some good and some not.

Here's a new one for me. I ordered a bottle of ZipCast from Brumfield Enterprises (FlyReelDots) - a FAOL sponsor - after reading some positive reviews here. Easy to order and it arrived a couple days later. Nice.

Last night I got a call from Jerry, wondering if I had received my bottle of ZipCast. Seems he sent it the same time as another order going to Iowa that hadn't yet arrived.

He was concerned that maybe I hadn't received mine either. So he called - for a $9.95 cent order that he had no complaints about.

I have never been disappointed with any of the FAOL sponsors I have purchased from. Sure is nice to do business with people like Jerry.

Just another example of the rewards we receive from the hard work JC and LF do day in and day out to bring us a great web site and great sponsors.

Warren, it might be nice to include a little credit for Jerry, considering he is the one that runs his business and put the effort into making the call and assuring that his customer was happy

I meant to not leave anyone out. My purpose of the post was to point out that if a sponsor does not pass the "test" of JC and LF, they do not become a sponsor. JC and LF make sure that all sponsors here have good products and excellant customer service. I was not leaving Jerry out. Sorry if it read that way.

I happen to be a HUGE fan of of both Jerry & his products. All I can say is that if EVERY businessman was as ethical as Jerry, the business world would be better for it. I am proud to do business with Jerry & even prouder to call him a good friend.

The gentleman was due to leave on a trip February 1 and his order mailed with what I thought was plenty of time to get there. The package was not there by the 29th and he emailed me. I called and asked him to give it one more day and if it did not arrive I would overnight another bottle (at my expense of $40) to arrive on 31st. Well it did not arrive so I sent another package. Now don't you know he called me today and told me both packages arrived at the same time! He felt bad and asked me to charge him for the second order too (I did not charge him the overnight fee).

So you see it works both ways when you do things the right way. :D

All kidding aside. Every order I placed with Jerry has always included a thank you note, a follow up email or both. It's a real pleasure doing business with him.

I'm impressed too. I just made an order, those magnet rod holders look just the ticket for me. I hate the way rods keep sliding down the side of my car when trying to rig up.
