I was very impressed with the entire 12 finalists.
I thought the event would go on all night. I picked her to win because she seemed so poised and mature for her age.
At last ABC had something on TV I could actually enjoy watching !

Second winner from kansas the last won was in 1978.
My bad ... I should know better then to quote a journalist. Actually there have been three other winners from Kansas:
