Fishing the Elk River, TN
My fishing buddy Waren & I fished the Elk River here in middle TN yesterday. If was the first time we've been able to fish this river in over two months so we were both pretty excited about fishing it.
It was a long hard day, the fish were there and the ones we could see on the bottom were definately big, guess they'd been chowing down on all the cicadas around here. He caught 15 and I caught 8, not a bad days worth of work.
But things really paid off when I caught the largest fish of the day and definaltely the largest on of my life, well at least to the present day. With luck and blessings from above maybe one day I'll get one of those elusive 20+ inch browns i hear so much about.
