Terrestrials are usually things, in fly-fishing lingo anyway, that are insects, and are not water borne. Things that live on dry ground and blow into or fall in the water.
Tadpoles are aquatic in birth, and are in the Streamer Category of Fly Patterns.

The first question - is a tadpole a bug (insect). The answer is no, because a tadpole is an immature frog.
