Haha, I wish I could say the same! I can't seem to keep the bream OFF my line!
Is the bream killer a surface or subsurface fly? How do you fish it?
Andrew: Go to the home page of FAOL. ON the left side is a search window. Type in "bream killer" and then click the enter key on your keyboard. A new page should appear that will give you a link to the bream killer. Hope this helps.

It will float and I guess if you coated it with gel it would float pretty well.
I let it sink straight down. It gets hits on the way down. If it doesn't I will strip it in a bit and sometimes that gets a bite.
This "bream killer"?

I whipped me up a few bream killers over the weekend. Made a few different colors, some with white legs, some with chartruse and some woth black legs.
Pretty easy to make.
Gonna try that 'Desperation' too.
I've tied a couple variations of this fly in 10s and 12s. This is *definitely* on my short list for big 'gills. Fished with an avid giller last year who only carried two bg flies with him - a popper and a Bully Spider. Now, he carries three.
Caught some on a bass popper over the weekend but they loved the bream killer.
I used a nymph hook(12?)
-lead weight on some.
-whatever color chenile you want.
-wrap 2 legs on either side. Pull tight so body(chenile) pulls in, in the middle to give the fly a rounded front and rear sections.
-tie in squirrel hair at the front. hair about to the end of the fly.
-whip
Done. Easy as pie. Even a beginner fly tier like me can make them.
Just for information I went to a pond 5 minutes from the store here over my lunch time and caught the snoot out of the bluegills. For a while I caught a gill on every cast on a black body chartruse marraboo tailed gurglepop. They would either smack it as soon as ith hit the water or sometimes I would have to just pull it very slow and steady. In 30 minutes I must have caught 30+ fish and had a great time. Sunday in a diffrent pond I caught 3 catfish on a little bead head pheasant tail. Largest probably went a little over 5lbs. Fun on a 3wt.
