if you've ever wanted to fish the white river, thought i'd throw this out there. a buddy and i are planning on fishing the white the 28th-30th of this month. i will have room for one and maybe two people (will know for sure tomorrow) to ride down in style in my 98 mercury villager van complete with food and soda stains courtesy of my children. we usually stay at a house in cotter, which for 4 people runs $89 a night total. so some cheap transportation and lodging. if you're interested, just p.m. here and i can get you my cell number. the plan is to leave k.c. on sunday around 0600 and leave cotter on tuesday at around 1500. i promise you won't have to act out any scenes from deliverance : ).
