Salt swap 2005
The fall striper migration should be starting soon. I am curious to see if anyone wants to do a salty swap. I participated in a few last year and would be willing to run one this year. If there is enough interest for a deadline of 10/1/2005 with 5 tyers. Toetags and the SASE as usual. I could do a peanut bunker that I have been playing with.
Swap is closed

I'm in. I have some extra James Wood Bucktails that I have tied for an upcoming trip.
-
Interest doesn't look to good but I will go with as many people as we get. If not enough peoplesign up we can trade a few different flies

Ok with me. Just let me know.

I may as well get in. I have been tying a lot of saltwater stuff anticipating a trip to the Gulf coast of Texas.

Time is at a high premium here now...and we would rather be useing'em than tying'em. http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif However if it stays REAL small AND you don't mind if'n we just pull some from the box, we would like to do it.
Send addy to send'em to please.

Hey interest. I thought it was going to be a dud. How about we do ten flies that way there everyone gets two to use. I guess that I will close the swap to any new bodies so that we can get the flies tied and sent in. My address is

AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
Okies, me matie!!!!!!
Rays' Candies... being tied now, should be sent when epoxy cures! They work for Labrax here in the UK... so don't doubt they work for Saxatilis when they're on the candlefish!
The flies i recieve will be shadow-boxed, not used... i will tie up copies to fish with, but the flies from the swap will be boxed above my bench, or used in my demos as inspiration to less-experienced tiers.
Tight lines, and NO mung!!

"I've often wondered why it is that so many anglers spend so much money on,and pay so much attention to.the details on the wrong end of the fly line.If they took as much care in selecting or tying their flies as they did in the selection of the reel and rod,They might be able to gain the real extra edge that makes it possible to fool a fish that has,in fact, seen it all before" A.K.Best
"Wish ya great fishing"
