Why call it H&H?
Just curious why Rainshadow blanks are often referred to as "H&H Forecast" or "H&H IM6". I know they are sponsor and a great company to do business with, but it makes it sound like they're the only ones who sell Rainshadow or even made by H&H. It seems like a disservice to Batson, another sponsor, by not giving them credit for their fine products.

H&H for several years ran many diffrent componies blanks as there own using there own specs in some cases other wise known as private label. We here at Batson Enterprises appreciate all the Rainshadow/Forecast supporters but on the other hand we also appreciate our private label customers. In other words as long as we sell blanks we do not care one way or the other what they call them as long as they pay there bills.H&H has a few blank models we do not offer in the line up these are the 9 foot seven piece blanks so known as H&H Forecast he is responsible for all warranty on those blanks. We appreciate all your support and we would not be here with out you.

Hey RainShadow - Welcome aboard.
And a heart felt thanks for the blanks you build - I do think I'm addicted though.

Some years ago Batson made Pac Bay and H&H house brand blanks. The only difference was Pac Bay was a plum color and H&H were green. All the specs were identical. All were made in USA.
I've lost track of the changes but I see in H&H print catalog that their house brand blanks are imported. Who can say if the quality has changed?
I will say the 9' 3 wt H&H/Pac Bay made in USA blank I built on made a great 3 wt rod.

Kerry,
Thanks for posting and clearing that up. I didn't realize H&H were selling private lable Rainshadows. In that case, when we buy our H&Hs, lets just remember the company behind the sceens.
