body - Zelon dubbing baetis olive

Gotta love the mystery of fly names. I was expecting a heavy dose of "chrome" (eg, flash) with this one but the name must have another origin.
A good drop of UV resin on the wingcase might be nice. Add to the durability and also give the wingcase some depth while still showing off the Peacock Sword.

I like John's idea about the UV Resin. I'm wondering if I were to do a bigger version on a heavier hook, would it work for Steelhead?

If you want to keep the fuzziness of the peacock sword wingcase, instead of putting resin on top put a very small amount of super glue on the thorax before you pull the wing case over.
