Warren, Thanks. I will get the box mailed out tomorrow before I start to load up the trailer for our trip. You should receive it sometime next week. There is a bunch of thread, tinsel, hooks from Dan Bailey's, two skeins of chenille from my nephew, some furs and misc. items. [They are misc. because I don't remember everything I tossed in there] Lord willing we will get more stuff next year. Neil
Neil, No problem. We have had company from out of State and I have not been on the computer much. My mailing address is" Warren Patterson 566 Smith Lane Tullahoma, TN 37388
Uncle Jesse Thanks for the email and we have a handicapped height toilet at both of our residences. Dee is doing better today and I was able to bring her home from Bozeman, which is 25 miles away, and get her into the rehab room at our local hospital for a few days of extra PT. Thanks for your concern. Neil
Neil, Something for you to consider that will make like a little more comfortable for the Lady and you as well. Consider replacing your main toilet with a handicapped height unit. This will kept Deanna within her angle restriction and is just a more comfortable height. You might even find some EPA kick-back for a low flow units which are a lot better than they were 10 years ago. My wife s 5'3" has had both hips replaced and she is much more comfortable on our handicapped height toilet.
Buddy, Good to hear from you. We are well as can be expected from old timers. It has been -20 degrees at home in Montana so I don't really call this weather brisk! In 1983 I walked to work at the court house and it was officially 50 degrees below zero. Now that's brisk. Have a very Merry Christmas and a fish-filled New Year. Neil
Neil and Deanna, I hope all is well with you. All is well with me. This is my busy time of the year, so I'm working every day until Christmas. Are you enjoying this brisk winter weather? Buddy
Hi. I sent a message about buying some type of storage bag last week with A.C. initials on it. Would be honored to have his bag. If this is still a go please contact me. FAOL name is montana mike. Thanks kindly and have a smooth day. Michael J.
Mr Chronicler, My name is Heinrich Schlarb , i live in PA. i have been tying for 17 years or so and love tying and fishing softhackles ( if this is for the Purple and not Starling). the story is :I tied this fly for a softhackle swap. I like to tie with silk so the body was a no brainer, however i was out of suitable sized starling and a call to the local shop confirmed the worst, NO starling on the shelf. Time to imrovise, A light Dunn hackle would fit the bill nicely, so became the Purple and not Starling. In fly tying nothing is written in stone, IMPROVISE, the fish will not care. hope this helps , best, heinrich
Hi Deanna i just found this. sorry for being so late. I wish you and Neil much happiness and great casting. Leona and I have much in common with you and Neil about the joys of starting a new life at our senior ages. I think Leona said it best for us, "Just when we thought the sun was setting in our lives, we met and knew instantly that our lives would change forever. The joy and love we found in each other gave birth to a new day." Wes
Sir, I wish you and Deanna Gods blessings. I am very happy for both of you and will keep you in my prayers. You must be a very special man to have such a special lady. Christopher Haddad
