    I actually thought about it, but in the past I tried to get rid of the flags as they had been there too long. JC had very strong opinions about the symbolism of the flag and supporting our troops. Not sure that would be something he would approve of, as it would detract from the meaning of the flags. A black ribbon on your pole and getting everyone to go fishing on a remembrance day might be better.
