Hi Ralph. I bought the Battenkill 5-7 wt. click and pawl reel and I love it. I'm going to buy the 3-5 wt. shortly. They are very sweet reels.

    HI Ralph,
I just respectfully want to make a suggestion t you. You are working very hard to present your beautiful flies for our members to view and take inspiration from. It is difficult for aging eyes to really see the full attributes of you flies because they seem to blend right into the piece of driftwood background. I think we could learn more from your flies if you could use plain buff or light grey piece of mat board instead of the driftwood and use either your vise or a fly stand t hold the fly. I made a nice fly display stand from a small piece of oak wood with a hole drilled to the size of one of those Radio Shack wire grabbers...(now called hackle pliers) to stand up in. I hope I explained that OK. Thank you for your efforts on our behalf.

Re H'burg trip - For brookies, try Dry River on 33 west of town. Ask Colby or Brian about it. Should still be good water in May. If you have a free weekday, try to get a pass to Beaver Creek - you will need to be at Ottobine Store at 6AM sharp (NOT 6:05) to get one of the 4 passes for $5. Really fun bow fishing and there are some lunkers in there. Feel free to email me if questions pillcaster@hotmail.com

    Ralph,
Glad you had a good day on the Tully! Sometimes I go down to the Tully, but I'm usually on the Lt. Schuylkill chasing Caddis . I'm not familiar with the area you noted in your post, I usually fish on PaperMill Rd. above the Red bridge.
Maybe we can do the Tully sometime.

    Howdy NJ,
Hope life is well for you.
  8. Hello! it looks like we are all landing here. I didn't get a chance to fish Penns Creek, but did hit Spring Creek twice. A good time on both trips.

Hey NJT, it is good to see you made it to this site. It is great seeing some familiar names showing up. Have you had opportunity to fish any streams in central PA this summer? This summer weather especially the rain and kept the water levels above average. I wonder how Penns Creek and Spring Creek are doing this summer?
