    bdharris,
I like fishing the Tin Can Flats area and then up around the Red Ives Ranger Station. Mornings I would use PMD's. Afternoons I would try BWO's size 16 or smaller. Like you mentioned, Royal Coachman, Renegade & Adams would probably work well also. I wouldn't go any larger then a size 14 on those. Last week, I had a fly posted on the "Fly of the Week" called the Foam Back Royal Humpy. Look it up in the Fly of the Week Archives. I've never used it, but cutthroat like everything in that fly. I can't help but think it would work well. Again, nothing larger then a size 14. Look for tail outs below riffles and dead drift those flies over deep holes or slots. I don't much use streamers, but have been known to throw small claret or olive colored bugger style flies through some of the deeper holes. Small buggers with short tails in a size 14 or 16. The St. Joe is usually blown out until June. This year maybe later. Best fishing is in Sep & Oct. Good luck and have fun.
    God Bless,
    Joe
